I think I am still here!

I feel like I died and went to Hell a week or two ago and I am slowly trying to crawl out!! Mom reminded me yesterday that today would be fast sunday...I can't believe how fast this month went by! Maybe Mom was right...I haven't been home all month! However, I think I am still here! My excuses for dissapearing are pretty lame..I don't like to get on our home computer...I think because I can't monitor what the girls are doing in the other rooms!...and yet, tonight...that is what attracted me to it...TO GET AWAY FROM EVERYONE! (including the dog) I usually like to use the lap-top but Ben keeps taking it to work with him!

Well, Mom told ya about my fun trip with the girls! We left Blanding at 9:30am and didn't get back to Monticello till 5:50! 8+ hours in a vehicle with those two girls is not a great idea! Just as we got to the hole-in-the-rock/rest stop traffic was completely backed up! The sheriff was driving to each car to let us know it could be and hour wait! Well 2 3/4 hours later we are slowly starting to move. We were in a dead spot for cell phone so to let Ben know what was going on just added to the stress! Also, because we thought it would only be 1 hour I didn't dare get out of turn to let anyone potty...so we crouched down between our vehicle and the car in front of us to go! Then what do ya know the dog needed to go! I thought we would be taking off any minute and so I kept telling the girls to sit down and stay buckled up...we were all hungry and tired of the car and I desperitely needed to pee!! The line of trucks and cars was so long it took till Peter's hill to finally get back up to speed and have a chance to pass anyone! It was all because a semi halling hay wrecked! They had to use a snow plow to move the hay off the road!

Well, we got some more info on Alma's situation! (Laila's birth-mom) She met with the case worker last friday to say she would like a visit...so Lucy gave her some things to do in order to earn a visit! One was a drug test, one was to admit herself into a residential treatment facility, and I can't remember the third thing! So I called Lucy to see how she was doing with everything and she has done none of her requirements! Shocker!! So Lucy thought it would be a good idea to get her "ducks in a row" for our trial on the 18th to petition parental termination! She needed a more current criminal record than what she had and to her surprise (not really) Alma is back in jail! She was arrested for stealing a car this time! There are 3 new felony charges against her and her bail is cash only! So on the 18th when we go to court both "mommy and daddy" will be transported..probably wont help either of their cases! Yeah for us and yeah for Laila!

Well I think I have made up for dissapearing by entering the longest blog! I'll chat later-love ya, Wendy
