I friggen' hate computers!!!

Yes, I said it!! They are a pain! I've been sitting here at this computer for most of the day. Ever since I installed the update to Internet Explorer it's locked up on me. Then my McAffee software subscription expired and I don't have an extra $70 right now to renew it, and that was locking up the rest of the computer. So I spent the entire afternoon removing IE 7.0 and all of the McAffee stuff. Then I got my new FREE IPOD in the mail so I tried to figure it out. Things are going a bit better, but what a pain!

I had to do my ward newsletter today. As usual, I don't have the reports I need, so I guess Shadd Christensen won't have a missionary report this month and the new family, the Tuttles, won't be in it yet again. Oh well, I told them, and told them--nada!!

I had to move my rocking chair over to the computer because my back was killing me working on the old chair. It's a bit ackward, but it's ok.

Found a black widow in Allie's bedroom tonight--so we're going to have to call the exterminator. Jim says he's found a few in the store room. It's so stinking cold, and I know that's why they're coming in, but the constant state of chaos Allie keeps her room in isn't helping anything at all. She and Peyton really surprised me today, though. I was sleeping in (big surprise, I know) and they decided all by themselves to make room in their toy boxes for new Christmas toys (too bad there won't be that many of them) and they filled FOUR kitchen sized garbage bags between the two of them with toys. The rescue hero invasion has been dramatically reduced, as has the little people establishment in Allie's room. Wow, I didn't discourage it at all. I figured, what the heck, if they don't want them any more, who am I to say keep it, I like more clutter.

It's very stinkin warm in my living room right now. I wish Jim would learn how to build a fire that wasn't capable of heating the entire neighborhood. I'm sitting here burning and sweating on the left side of my body and freezing on the right side (I have the window open or I couldn't stand to be in here) The thermometer in my car said about 15 degrees. I love the car, but dang, diesels do NOT like cold weather.

Well, I need to get online and get some Christmas gifts ordered. Allie blew a hole in the only pair of levis she had that didn't have holes--so MOM-ALLIE NEEDS JEANS!! Size 9 I think is what I'll get her now.

Later!! Love ya
Karla
