my turn

I guess it is my turn to blog again. I kept logging on to see what everyone was saying and there weren't too many new blogs. I have been busy working. Wendy and the girls were here at Karlas for two days and I hardly saw any of them. I come home tired at night, but I am sleeping pretty darn good. I went down today to sweep and mop the floor. It is a big space and hard to keep it looking clean. If I stay there very long, I think I will find some cheap carpet piece to put down in the show room. I also would like some mats for under foot around the machines, just to be a little easier on the legs and feet.
I think my carpeting and tile should be coming this next week. I may have to take a day or so off to take everything out of the rooms.
Shannon Brooks from George Wythe College and his wife stopped in to check out the store. They think they might know a few families coming with the college who would be interested in buying it. We will just wait to see what all happens.
It looks like Denny and RD are going to donate 100 acres to the school and Karl and I are donating 100 acres, and the college will negotiate with Denny and RD for the other 200 they need. We are buying 100 acres back, and then donate that to use as a tax deduction. It will be a few weeks before we all get everything put together. Dad talked to Phil Lyman and he plans to go down the first of the week to make sure how we need to handle everything. Lots going on right now. There will be plenty of land for all of you to put in a house if you want and have space around as well. We will be fencing this summer and maybe start on the pavilion.
It looks like the pavilion will be down in the bottom below our house instead of on the 40. Dad hated to put alot of money up there and then have to worry about taking care of it and using it to it's full potential. We are trading the 40 for 60 more connected to the west end of our 120. That puts our west boundary up on top of the hill a ways. There are some good places up on there.

Well, I need to start some food going. Talk to you later. Love, Mom
