What a crazy 48 hours! Yesterday I was devastated to learn that all of my embyo's had stopped growing. I was also very releaved to know that Laila is ours for ever!! Well, today the doc called and said that 3 embryo's had grown last night! What a miracle! Apparently there wasn't one developed to an 8 cell stage....there was one at a 3 cell stage and the rest were at a 2 cell stage. Yesterday afternoon the embyologist checked on them and the 3 cell had developed to a 5 cell. And this morning the 5 cell had develped to a 7 cell and two of the 2 cell had developed into a 4 cell. The rest of them did nothing! So Dr. Heiner felt like today would be a better day for transfer than tomorrow. So I am all done with that! We transfered all 3. The embryologist would rate them fair....and Dr. Heiner said they actually look like great embryo's! They gave me a picture of the 3 embryo's to keep...very interesting! So now we will wait and see. I will be traveling home tomorrow afternoon. I can't wait to sleep in my own bed! The dr said that the picture would be perfect if it were taken 2 days ago...basically saying they look 2 days behind schedule...but that is what I have been the entire process! So I am hoping that could be the "normal" for me! I am exhausted with all the emotions of the past 24 hours...and the vallum feels so wonderful I think I will go lay down!
