Hallelujah!

Oh Wendy, I don't know how you have been able to deal with all the conflicting emotions in the last few days. You are tough! I was sick to my stomach last night thinking about you having gone through all this medical stuff and having it not work out, and was so sad this morning too. Then you called after I left to take Sadie to school and Mom called right when I walked in the door and it was such a wonderful thing to hear that you were able to go ahead with the implant. I can only imagine how you were feeling. I am so happy for you that the court proceedings went well and that Ricky and Alma were able to see that what was best for Laila was to let her go. Makes you think there might be hope for them after all. Absolutely can't wait for that court date for the official, "She's yours, forever!" and for the temple to watch her be sealed to her family. Lucky and blessed little girl! Just know that you are in our prayers and that I love you very much.

On a fun note, J got asked to MORP last night. It was done in a very fun and creative way. Someone left 5 underTshirts on the step with a note. It said, "I'd love to take you to MORP but I think my name got lost in the crowd. You have to wash these shirts and the name left on them is mine.' Each shirt was covered in colorful markered names, people from school and various celebs. The funny ones were Queen Elizabeth, Brittany Spears, Paris Hilton, Xena-Warrior Princess, Hilary Clinton and Mary Poppins. He didn't want to wash them right away and wore one of them to school today. But he had a good idea of who it was and washed the shirt with her name on it and of course, it didn't disappear. It was Tara, Mom, who you saw when you were here. He's trying to figure out a fun way to let her know he'll go. Tonight he asked me about Tempera paints and where to get them and said something about Magleby's. I told him he would have to get their permission to write his answer on their windows.....we'll see what he ends up doing. I did get pictures of the note and all the fronts and backs of the shirts. I think I need to hire that girl to do all the handwriting in my scrapbooks! Her handwriting looks so good.

Sadie went back to school today, hopefully Hannah will tomorrow. If not then, maybe on Friday.

Karla, how was the party? I'll bet he had a great time. I absolutely can't believe he is five. Where does the time go?

Well, better go crack the homework whip. C and the boys are at Mutual and I get to be the hardnose tonight! Love you all. Have a great night!
