Super Sunny Saturday

Hey, hope you are having as beautiful a Saturday as we are here. It is absolutely gorgeous. All my neighbors are outside working in their yards and I have seen so many people out walking or riding bikes or skating.....and here I sit inside. But my windows are open and it is heavenly.

I just finished cutting out 5 cardboard goats. Yay! I think that's the last of my committments that have to be done by a certain time.....got the invites delivered last night. C just got my new blinds hung in my bedroom and I really like them. I don't think I need to find any type of curtain now. They really help dress up the windows. He took Ford, Montana and Cambria and Brian to the Rec Center to swim and he went to help Kyle with his Jeep. Jordan is in his room, Soren is asleep and the little girls are playing outside with Cami. It is sooooo quiet.

C surprised me last night with dinner out and he got us a motel room. It was nice to sleep without a baby and sleep in this morning. We ate at Carrabba's and I'm just now warming up my leftovers for a late lunch. Cambria did a fantastic job taking care of Soren. She had him all dressed and hair spiked up when we got home this morning. It was a nice, much-needed break. Love that he planned that for us.

Well, actually I got on here to let you know that we now have trusses up. It's way cool to walk out there now and get a better feel for the size and shape of the room. Next we have to cut away part of the roof and put in the big beam that holds up the roof where we are removing the kitchen wall. That and getting the sheathing on the roof and the windows in. It's starting to look like an actual room now. Please pray for good weather for us, so we can keep moving along.
