It's Hump Day!!

Wednesday, February 21, 2007

Wow, it's a short work week for me. Monday was President's Day and it's my Friday off, but I'm so glad I only have to work 3 days this week. Our auditor is here this week to tell us all the wrong things we're doing and have to go fix. Luckily she only chose 10 files out of 150 or so possible for this program, so at the worst, we'll only have 10 files to fix for the audit.

Well, weightwatchers isn't going so good. In fact, I was informed the other day that this was "by far your worst dieting effort to date. How much did you spend on it again?" :P That's me sticking my tongue out and spitting at him. Oh well, that's life.

Peyton is in Rowdy Boy's wresting and doing well. It's hilarious to see 4 year olds try to wrestle. They just grab each other in bear hugs and fall on the mat and try to beat each other up. He was so dead tired last night when he got home from practice. He had played at the Tracy's all day and was tired from that and then he had 1 1/2 hours of wrestling practice from 5:30-7:00. Tired boys are good boys. They don't get into nearly as much trouble.

I got rid of one of the couches in my living room. Jim took it to Montezuma with him yesterday and threw it into a big pit and lit it on fire. He said the entire thing was reduced to smoldering springs within 10 minutes. He thinks he should have video taped it and showed it to people who think that smoking indoors is a good idea. He said it went up so fast that he was shocked. I'm going to go to Moab or Cortez on Friday and look for new furniture for downstairs. I'm going to move the downstairs furniture upstairs because Jim hates sitting on the downstairs couch. I was thinking about getting nicer, more formal furniture for the upstairs and leaving downstairs alone, but he doesn't really want to to do that.

Allie is doing well. Nothing new for her, really. Just likes to play and ask a million and two questions every day. She's a great helper around the house, though.

Well, I've given you the update on about everyone but the fish and the dog. Blue is good. We're getting another aquarium. 48 gallon bowfront this time. It'll go up in the living room. So, that means we'll have the 135 in the family room, the 65 or 70 in Allie's room and a 45 in the living room. Any one need any fish?? They are breeding quite nicely. We have lelupi babies, transcriptus babies, venustus babies, kimpuma babies, and a few miscelleaneous mutts, I think.

Got to get back to work. I love you all--thanks for being my family.
