Crazy world!

I can't believe the number of tragic things that have happened lately....houses exploding, drunk drivers taking out families, tornadoes, mall shootings.....I think I need a break from news. Time to go back to my blissful little lala land where things like that don't happen.

I hope nothing tragic is happening in your lives. None here, thank goodness.

Wendy-how are the shots going? OUCH! I'm sure it will be worth it, though, when you can hold a sweet baby in your arms. Wish you could have stopped by, maybe next time.

Stacy-I know you're reading this and I'm calling you out. Post something, you big lurker!

Karla-still buried at work?

Mom- You too?

I am not feeling very supported in my WW here anymore. I think we would all do better if we would communicate about it more often. I know we're busy but really 5 minutes is not too hard to find. Come on, I need your help!

Okay, off my soapbox now and you can hit your head to bring your eyes back around now.

Gotta get Sadie off to school. Back later!

Here we go!

Well, things are moving right along on the house plans...we have most of our bids in..and it looks like we will be trying to get a few more to have a comparison! Some people make a bundle in there area's of expertise! Hopefully it will all balance out in the end with some of the area's we will be saving money in. Our final print of the plans are done..yeah..and we get to pay for that AGAIN. I think it will be worth it to have the plans exact...it's on our heads if someone messes up! And we are moving foreward with the in-vitro..I get to take a class saturday to learn how to mix the drugs and shoot myself up! Yipee! Ben will be doing the shots for me and I have recruited Alisa Nielson to fill in if Ben is ever gone! I think I have to pay for everything up front on saturday...that will be a hard check to write! I hope it is worth the experience! And nothing has changed with Laila's situation since I last wrote...we have a hearing on the 22nd of this month and court for the trial is still March 13th! Mom expressed an interest in coming to one of the courts...that is fine..any of you are welcome to come and see what we get to do! The hearing in feb could be fairly eventful...they should just be determining weather or not Great-Aunt Magdelena qualifies to adopt. However, it could get quite interesting if Ricky chooses to come! He gets out on the 20th! And if he comes, his girlfriend Crystal will come and she usually manages to make things interesting herself! Lots to look foreward to in our family! We are moved in! No dishwasher, no washer/dryer...everything leaks and it's cold with those cinderblock walls! Love being in Monticello though! When ever they turn on our phone here is our new and FINAL phone number: (435) 587-2844. Stacy and Kassie...I will stop by and see you on Friday..tomorrow! Talk to ya later, Wendy

Hey!

Just updated my google account for this new blogger thing.

It's late so I won't say much. On the spelling bee thing, Montana got out on round 2, on the word totem...don't ask. Actually Curtis said he looked relieved to have gotten such an easy word and tried to go too fast. Cambria stayed in until round 4, got out on the word mongrel. It was a really good experience for them. Wish I could have seen the bee, but we were celebrating Sadie's 1/2 birthday in school that day and I had cupcakes to make and frost. Too little time and too many things to get done.

We have trusses! Granted they are hanging into the room upside down right now.....The kids wanted to know how that would work, haha! Hopefully they will get put up on Fri. We got the electric service switched to the new box on the addition last Thurs. They screwed up the order to turn it back on and so it was off from 9 to 3:30. And it was a cold day. Curtis and Soren and I were well bundled up in the house to stay warm and darn, we had to got out for lunch.

Well, Jordan just walked in, so I guess I'll call it a night.
PPPPLLLLLEEEEAAAASSSSEEEE post something! I feel like I'm talking to myself here.

Love ya
Kas

Cha cha cha changes!!

Well, I updated the blog to the google version. You will have to create a google account to log in now. I wasn't going to do this, but it looks like it was being forced. So, if you have any problems logging in or anything, call me and I'll help you through it. Or, call me anyway, I want to talk to someone!! Stacy called me last night and we talked for quite a while. It was great!

Thanks, Wendy, for helping me out yesterday. Sorry about the mud issue. You were sleeping when I came to pick the kids up and I didn't want to wake you. I just want you to know how much I appreciated you bailing me out yesterday!! Love ya!

Kass, how did Cambria and Montana do in their spelling bees? This blog is becoming a desert wasteland. Got to change that! How's the addition to the house coming along?

Well, nothing new going on in the Eberling household. Went to Allie's parent teacher conference yesterday and she's doing great--straight A's. Gets frustrated with writing assignments when she has to come up with the subject. She's a little bit indecicive. Sometimes she asks me which toothbrush to use.

Well, work is crazy right now. We're under the gun to get a ton of stuff done and updated, but our computer web sites we use for all of our contracts and eligibility aren't working worth a darn so it makes it difficult to get anything done.

I'm sucking it up big time on the WeightWatchers thing. I'm about ready to say, "Bag It!" I hate dieting!!

Jim went to Vegas last weekend to help Justin replace the transmission in his Dodge. They got the new one in and first gear doesn't work. So, he'll probably be going back down in a few weeks to try again. But, on a better note, my car got 62 miles per gallon between Hurricane and home. Dang, that's nice!!

Well, I guess I better get back to trying to get some work done. It's hit or miss, but I better at least be trying!!
Love you all!
Karla
