Scary times!

Are any of you getting worried about what's going on in our world? It really feels to me like things are escalating and we need to get ourselves prepared for whatever might occur.
I know I sound like I'm preaching, but I want you to know that I love each and every one of you and am concerned about your well-being. Please do some research, pondering and praying and follow the Spirit. If you have no idea where to start here's a good place. Of course, the Church's Provident Living site is helpful as well. Please at least consider the 3 month storage the Church is currently focusing on. I read or heard that Bishop Burton said the leaders of the Church are concerned about a pandemic where people would be quarantined and unable to leave their homes to buy anything or help anyone else. They have tried to determine what the Church can do and they have come to the conclusion that in that case, there won't be much the Church can do. Each individual and each family will have to be able to care for themselves. Start with 3 months of your regular type meals and water and then work on long term storage. Please consider it!
I am also sending you an interesting slide show. I'm not trying to sound like an alarmist but I am learning that things in our world/country are not always what they appear and it's time to make myself aware of what's going on around me so I can prepare myself and my family and find myself on the Lord's side. Check your email for this slide show, since that's the only way I know to get it to you.
Again, I don't want to sound preachy, so take this with all the love and concern that I'm sending it with.
